What is Beta-Glucan?

The active ingredient that provide barley one of its health benefits is Beta-glucan. Beta-glucan is a type of soluble fibre. It has been shown to reduce cholesterol levels and risk of heart disease by absorb excessive bad cholesterol (LDL).

Consume 3g of barley beta-glucan everyday helps to lower or reduce blood cholesterol
